My Reading List 2018|GoodReads Reading Challenge

I am a huge reader, I always have been. Even though I go in spurts, I may read five books in a two month span and then not read again for three months, I still like to set up a challenge for myself. Last year on Goodreads I set up a personal challenge to read 24 books for the year. I ended with 19. My busy time with photography always results in me not wanting to sit down at night and read.
This year again I kept it at 24. If I go over,  then all the better!

If you're a reader and don't know Goodreads you should check it out! It's a great place to keep track of what you've read and want to read. You can follow me here

So now on to my "to read" list for 2018. I'm going to Melbourne in March so I need at least three new books for the plane!
Not all of these are new books, but just some that I may have been itching to read and haven't. I tend to have reading seasons, in the fall I want to read a good spooky book or anything that has to do with fall. In the summer I always ALWAYS go for the easy beach read and it HAS to be set on a beach. Winter, last year before Christmas I read two Christmas themed books and now that Christmas is over I'm wanting to read a mystery.. so strange but it is who I am. :)

All about a group of friends who decide to try an open marriage. Interesting and scandalous!

I started this before Christmas but then fell out of it. I'll pick it back up soon. It's about this girl who lives next door to a wild family. She falls for one of the brothers and ends up hiding the relationship from her mom. It's a YA but it's an easy read and from what I have already read I enjoyed it!

I'm usually a fiction loving girl but I found this on my Kindle and decided to download the sample. I think it will be one to pull me in. It's Howard Dully's biography. He was one of the youngest patients to have a transorbital lobotomy at age 12. After his procedure his parents basically left him to fend for himself. So sad and interesting.

A little about marriage and relationships and a little about time travel!

This has been on my list for a while. Theo loses his mother, is taken in by a family friend. We then follow him through his teen years and into adulthood.

Also not a new book but one that I've had on my list for a while. It's different format than I'm used to, a short story and then a novella, but it sounds interesting and I love J. D. Salinger.

I hope you might pick one of these up soon! And hey, if you happen to get on Goodreads and give me a follow, leave me a comment so I can follow you back! Happy Reading!
